IEF has been formed to raise seed capital globally from Institutions and accredited investors to develop conventional and innovative opportunities in India & other countries. Most of the energy industry in India is dominated by government and are inefficient. Competition from private industry makes it weaker and heading its real growth downwards, as you can see their increase interest in private-public entities.

The Fund is for direct and early investment opportunities in projects that will take advantage of the rising growth in India and elsewhere. The Fund will also encourage the wealth of know-how available in USA implemented worldwide.
